The older I get, the more I have come to know that life is complicated. I, like many others, have experienced beauty, laughter, success, and love. But I have also experienced trauma, sickness, heartache, and loss. Sometimes I have navigated through the complications well; other times, not so much. No doubt anyone who has experienced life could say the same. Where would we be without Grace? Grace from a friend, a loved one, a spouse, our God? 

 I have had the honor and privilege of being a  Worship Leader for over twenty years. In addition, I have also worked with children and families who, like myself, have experienced life-altering trauma. In both roles, I understood the refreshing nourishment a word of hope can bring as we navigate through the complexities of life;

 “Like a drink of cool water refreshes a weary, thirsty soul, so hearing good news revives the spirit.”  (Proverbs 25:25 TPT).

 As a Child Abuse Survivor, Cancer Survivor, and Everyday Life Survivor, I know the importance of sharing hope and encouragement wherever and whenever possible.  That is the very reason this website was born. Perhaps it is just for legacy, a message of hope for family and friends. Or maybe it is for a wider audience. Either way, I can’t keep my story to myself, for within the many complexities is also an epic adventure laced with Beauty, Love, Healing, and Grace. 

 Yes, indeed, I must tell my story; the story of a complicated life restored and redeemed by a gracious, intimate GOD.
